Mother’s Day is fast approaching, and what better way to celebrate Mom than with brunch? We rounded up 12 different spots where you can treat her. Remember that brunch isn’t always white tablecloths and eggs benedicts (although it can be!). Maybe Mom enjoys local beers and a food truck, or a hearty diner breakfast, or international eats!
- Harvest Moon Craft Kitchen: This cozy Canal Winchester spot features great coffee, cocktails, and an interesting menu: omelets, breakfast burritos, lemon ricotta pancakes, and something called Morning Fries.
- Rockmill Tavern: Rockmill was our choice for Mother’s Day brunch last year! Excellent coffee, a full range of house-made Belgian beers, spicy chilaquiles, custardy French toast, soft eggs in cheddar biscuits.
- Grand Event Center: The newer event center in Grandview Yard is hosting two seatings for a Mother’s Day brunch buffet. Book your seats by May 3!
- Del Mar SoCal Kitchen: One of Cameron Mitchell’s newest restaurants, Del Mar will host its first Mother’s Day brunch this year. In fact, most of the Cameron Mitchell Restaurants will host brunch events: The Barn at Rocky Fork Creek, Cameron’s Bistro, Hudson 29, Harvey & Ed’s, The Pearl, The Guild House, and others.
- 3 Brothers Diner: This Grove City diner serves a Tex-Mex fusion, from huevos rancheros and Azteca burritos to coconut pancakes and omelets.
- The Whitney House: Situated in Old Worthington, Whitney House’s brunch is both creative and homey. Go from biscuits and gravy or challah French toast to breakfast ramen, a short rib scramble, and flax & quinoa porridge.
- Ty Ginger Asian Bistro: Treat Mom to dim sum! Dim sum is the original brunch, and all reports say Ty Ginger’s weekend dim sum is excellent. During weekend service, carts get rolled up tableside so you can choose from a huge variety of small plates.
- Mazah Mediterranean Eatery: Last month Mazah started opening early again for breakfast seven days a week. They’re dishing up shakshouka, merguez sausage and eggs, fried halloumi cheese, breakfast falafels, and more.
- Wolf’s Ridge Brewing: WRB is a triple threat: great space, creative menu, excellent beer. All of this adds up to one of the city’s top brunches.
- The Table: Like Wolf’s Ridge, The Table is a perennial Breakfast With Nick favorite. You’ll experience warm hospitality from their team while feasting on brioche French toast, spicy Indian scrambled eggs, and quiche.
